Sandy Heard was born to George Heard and Ruthie Mae Kirks. He was the sixth and last child. He left us on November 28, 2017, and came into this world on October 17, 1949.

Sandy accepted Christ at the early age. He attended school at Rocky Hill and Prairie Hill and drove school buses for Brenham ISD.

Sandy is preceded in death by a special friend, Joyce Mathis; his sister, Bernice Williams; his mother, Ruthie Mae Kirks; father, George P. Heard; and brothers, Thomas, James, Armon, and Eugene.

Mourning his departure yet cherishing his sweet memories are his beloved wife, Earlene Heard; his sister-in-laws: Laverne, Mary, and Melinda Thomas; brother in laws, Aaron, August, and Jessie; his children: Jacquline Heard (Ronnie Ray) Sandy Jr. (Jamie Heard) Sam Heard Mark Heard La Toya Heard (Lenard Crawford) Wanda Thomas (John Clark) John (Katrina) Mathis, Loretta Fields.
