Sandee K. Carpenter 1963 - 2016Our beloved Sandee Kathleen Carpenter (McClurg) passed away in her home on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at age 53. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed. She was born on July 27, 1963, in Ontario, Oregon as Sandee Kathleen Stubstad. She lived in Oregon most of her life. Sandee graduated from Ontario High School on 1981. She furthered her education by taking classes at Brigham Young University and University of London before finalizing her Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications at the University of Oregon in 1986.Sandee excelled in many sales and marketing positions throughout her career while employed by such firms as Dex Media, Inc., Blue Book of Construction Multi-Media Marketing, KRCW Television, and most recently by Rewards Network. She truly enjoyed working with her colleagues and was committed to providing her customers with stellar service. Anyone who knew Sandee was taken by her beauty, caring and loving personality, and adventurous spirit. She very much enjoyed being in nature and never turned down an opportunity to go hiking, rain or shine. Her other passions included travel, photography, getting together with girlfriends, and above all else, spending time with her children and partner. Her smile shined brightest when she was near her loved ones.Sandee is survived by her two sons, Nicholas McClurg and Mason McClurg, and by her partner, Rich Bell. She is also survived by her brothers, Curt Tiffany and Johnny Stubstad, plus aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.She is preceded in death by her parents, Gertrude Eve Wilkins and John William Stubstad.A memorial service will be held on October 22 at 1:00 p.m. at Skyline Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Portland, Oregon.
