Samuel was the son of Daryl and Loretta Edwards. He leaves behind his loving wife, Loretta Edwards, and their five children: George, Marcus, Deondre, Faith, and Morris.

Samuel was a dedicated youth basketball coach and made a significant impact on the lives of many young athletes. He was known for his passion for the game and his commitment to helping his players succeed both on and off the court.

Samuel was a proud graduate of Central High School, where he excelled both academically and athletically. He cherished his time at Central High and formed many lasting friendships during his time there.

Samuel will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was a kind, generous, and loving man who always put his family first. His legacy will live on through his children and grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
