It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Samara Tenus, who was born on January 5, 1927 in Pridgen, Georgia, United States. She peacefully left this world on June 20, 2025.

Samara was the beloved daughter of Martin Odom and Essie Meadows. She was the loving partner of Carlisle Tenus and the proud mother of Marnie Tenus and Andy Tenus. She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will live on in her children and grandchildren.

Samara was a talented seamstress who had a passion for making clothes for her family and community. Her creative spirit and generous heart touched the lives of many, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

May her soul rest in peace as she joins her loved ones in eternity.

No public service will be held only a family & Community celebration of life held at the Romani community hall
