Ruth Gesin ShepherdAGE: 87 •Ruth Gesin Shepherd died peacefully on December 15, 2016. She was born on May 30, 1929 to John and Rena Gesin in West Orange, NJ. After graduating from West Orange High School in 1947, she worked for the Insurance Company of North America as an underwriter.She married Scott Shepherd in 1958. Her favorite role in life was being the mother to her children, Beth and Scott. She lived most of her life in New Jersey, for which she was proud. She recently moved to Tulsa to live by family. She enjoyed her life at Saint Simeon's where the loving staff became a second family. Ruth loved the Presbyterian Church, a good bridge game, basset hounds, crossword puzzles, going out to eat, working at Hair Designs, library books, and making people happy with her kindness and loving spirit.
