Ruth Ann (Staton) Marsh, 77Muncie - Ruth Ann (Staton) Marsh, 77, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Maple Park Nursing Home in Westfield, IN.She was born on May 22, 1940 in Bath County, Kentucky, the daughter of Coleman and Madge (Razor) Staton.She was a graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Elementary Education. She worked at Indianapolis Public School Elementary for twenty-eight years retiring in 1996. She married Alfred L. "Al" Marsh on July 28, 1972 in Indianapolis.Ruth loved to travel, spend time with her grandchildren, dance, and attend stage plays. Survivors include her husband of forty-five years, Alfred L. "Al" Marsh; son, Dan Marsh (wife, Jennifer) of Carmel; three grandchildren, Charles "Charlie" Marsh, Jason James "JJ" Marsh and Myles Marsh; brother, Ralph Staton (wife, Maria), Hib Staton (wife, Judy), Carrol Staton (wife, Sally); sister, Donna Hass (husband, Mike); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Charles Staton, and sister-in-law, Patricia Staton.  Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel.
