It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roy Matheny, who was born on September 16, 1960, in Brownwood, Texas, United States, to parents Roy Bailey Matheny and Arvella Matheny.
Roy sadly passed away on January 10, 2025, leaving behind his beloved spouse Miriam Matheny, whom he married in year 26. Together, they had two children, Roy Bailey Matheny 3rd and Ashley Matheny.
Roy worked as a self-employed drywall and painter, dedicating his time and talents to his craft. He was known for his hard work and dedication to providing for his family.
In his free time, Roy enjoyed camping and fishing, finding solace and joy in the great outdoors. His love for nature was evident in every aspect of his life.
Roy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
