We are gathered here today to bid farewell to the incomparable Roxanne Davis, who passed away on June 1, 2024, at the age of 66 in East Orange, New Jersey.

Roxanne, born in Harlem, New York on October 15, 1957, was a force of nature with a heart of gold. She married Frederick Davis, January of 1990. She was a loving mother to her children Tamika Haines, Ariel Davis (and spouse Tasha Davis), Joie Davis, and Zoe Davis. She was also the proud grandmother of six adorable grandchildren, Ariana, Aiyana, Gabriel, Amira, Benjamin and Noah.

Roxanne had a zest for life that was infectious to all who knew her. She graduated from Henry Snyder High School and continued her studies at New Jersey City University, where she excelled academically.

In her spare time, Roxanne enjoyed writing, sewing, and offering spiritual advice to her friends and family. She was also a Prophetess. Her wit and wisdom were unmatched, and she had a knack for making everyone around her laugh.

Roxanne was proceeded in death by her Mother Jean Baker, Father Noah Chapman, and Grandson Joshua Davis.

She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her, but we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, probably organizing a celestial sewing circle or offering words of wisdom to the angels above.

Roxanne Davis, you will always hold a special place in our hearts. Rest in Heaven.
