DENISON – Mr. Roscoe Smith, Sr., age 74 of Denison, Texas, passed away on Thursday December 8, at his home.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Bethel Community Baptist Church in Denison. Pastor Michael Braxton will officiate. Burial will follow at Jeramiah Cemetery in Denison. A visitation will be today from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. at Cravens Funeral Home.Roscoe was born on September 22, 1942 in Denison, to Parents Thomas E. Smith and Lucille Sims Smith. He was raised and educated in Grayson County and worked various jobs throughout his life. He was known for his carpentry and mechanic skills. Roscoe enjoyed life and lived it his way.He will be remembered by: his son Roscoe Smith Jr, and daughter Amanda Campbell, both of Barstow, California, brothers Eugene Smith, Harris E. Smith and Robert L. Smith, sisters Mary J.
