Rosario Martinez Herrera passed away at home on October 15, 2024 of natural causes. He was born in Lamar, Colorado to Gerardo Martinez and Agripina Herrera on October 7, 1937. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Stella, sister Esther Herrera, sons Michael, Phillip and Anthony, and daughter Jeannetta. He leaves behind many beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends. From little league coach, to carpenter, to mill operations manager, to shop steward, and most of all to family man Roe will be remembered for his kindness, warmth, humor and firm love his family and community. For many parents, seeing their children achieve more than they did is a source of immense pride and fulfillment. For Roe it underscored his idea of generational improvement, and for that his family was deeply grateful.
