Rosa Anchondo Terrazas, of El Paso, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2017. She was her spunky self to her last days! Rosa was born on December 24, 1933. She married her high school sweetheart Chuy in 1957. They will now be reunited in heaven. Rosa was a proud Bowie High School graduate in 1953 and was very active with the Bowie Alumni Association. She loved being in the PTA at Crockett Elementary School for 15 years during her children's attendance. Rosa was involved in campaigning for her husband, councilman Chuy Terrazas, Jr. and others. She loved her hometown of El Paso and enjoyed playing host to numerous friends and family over the years. She especially loved dancing the night away with her beloved Chuy. She is preceeded in death by her husband, Jesus "Chuy" Terrazas, Jr.; her brother, Juan Anchondo; and her mother, Rosa Anchondo. She is loved and survived by daughters Rosa Maria Terrazas-Montamat (husband Stephen Montamat) and Romelia Terrazas and son Jesus Terrazas III. Grandchildren are Marissa & Renee Montamat and Nicolas & Isabella Terrazas. Visitation will be Friday, October 20, 2017 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with Rosary at 7:00pm at Martin Central Funeral Home, 3839 Montana. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama.
