Roosevelt Graves, born on October 15, 1952, took his final breath on July 26, 2024, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, United States. He was survived by his wife, Brenda P. Graves, whom he married in 2014. Roosevelt was the son of Theodore Graves and Essie Mae Thomas-Graves.

He is also survived by his beloved stepdaughter, Maketta Cotton, and two cherished grandchildren. Roosevelt attended Central High School in Memphis, TN, graduating in 1969. He continued his education at Louisburg College, earning his degree in 1971.

Roosevelt was known for his passion for fishing, spending countless hours enjoying the tranquility of nature. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
