Ronald S. Sumeracki, age 74 of Hale, formerly of Sterling Heights, passed away at his home surrounded by loved ones on Monday, Feb. 1, 2016. He was born on March 29, 1941 in Detroit to Stanley and Mary (Rogaczewski) Sumeracki. Ronald served his country in the United Stated Army during the Vietnam War. Ronald retired from working for Chrysler after 30 years of employment. The family moved to northern Michigan after retiring. He was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and Fraternal Order of Eagles. Ronald enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Ronald is survived by his wife, Christine Sumeracki; children, Brian (Abby) Sumeracki and Rhonda Sumeracki; grandchildren, Angelo Stell and Dominick; brothers, Gary and Michael Sumeracki; and many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Holly at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11, followed by committal service held at 2 p.m. at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.
