Ronald "Kent" Ray died Sunday Dec.11, 2016, after a short illness. Memorial service: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 21, at the Lena Pope Marty Leonard Community Chapel, 3131 Sanguinet St., Fort Worth, 76107. Memorials: In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Salvation Army. Kent was born on Oct. 2, 1956, in Texarkana. He was actively employed at Fain Models, LTD in Bedford. He had also worked at Ben Hogan and McKinney Construction at Texas Motor Speedway. Kent's favorite pastime was hanging out at the lake with his friends, listening to music and he enjoyed going to Ranger games. Having grandchildren opened up a whole new world of fun for him. He also enjoyed the company of his closest friends Rick Mabery and Cris Rungee. Kent was always willing to lend a helping hand or pull a prank and loved being outside in a storm. He was preceded in death by his father, Windle Coy Ray. Survivors: Kent is remembered with love by his beloved mother, Juanita; wife, Kathi; sister, Sandra; step-daughters, Lindsey Murphy and Emily Hensley; grandchildren, Christian, Ryder, Danni Grace, Bryce and Bo; and his lake family.
