Ronald Robertson, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and esteemed member of the Midway community, passed away on November 17, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on March 29, 1947, to proud parents Dorris Aldon Robertson and Doris Irene Wilks Robertson, Ronald was a shining light in the lives of those around him.

In 1972, Ronald married his soulmate Christine Hamilton Robertson, and together they raised six wonderful children: Kimberly Gross, Michael Robertson (spouse Lupe), Annette Leach (spouse Chad Mouton), Cherri Robertson, Amberly Beamon (spouse Matt Beamon), and Blue Gross. His legacy lives on through them and their families.

Ronald pursued his education at Harlingen High School, graduating in 1965. He furthered his studies at College of the Mainland, Brazosport, Alvin Community College, and San Jacinto. His dedication to his work was evident in his roles as a police officer and master electrician, where he served with honor and distinction.

Notably, Ronald also bravely served in the Air Force as a Sergeant, demonstrating his commitment to his country and its values. In his free time, he enjoyed hobbies like shooting targets, spending quality time with his family, and playing chess and games with his children and grandchildren.

Ronald Robertson will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His kind heart, unwavering loyalty, and strong work ethic will forever be remembered. May he rest in peace, knowing he left a lasting impact on the world and all who knew him.
