It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rolando Gonzalez, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and avid golfer, on August 21, 2024.

Rolando was born on May 3, 1951, in San Pedro Sula, Cortés Department, Honduras, to his loving parents Antonio and Norma. He was a devoted husband to his wife Enma, whom he married in 1987. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Miley and Januka.

Rolando served in the Army with honor and dedication, always putting his country first. When he wasn't serving his country, Rolando could be found on the golf course, perfecting his swing and enjoying a round with friends. He also had a passion for soccer and would never miss a game, cheering on his favorite teams with gusto.

Despite his tough exterior, Rolando was a softie when it came to his five precious grandchildren, whom he adored and spoiled rotten. He was always the first to offer a helping hand or a listening ear, and his presence will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Though Rolando's passing was unexpected, he left behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a few epic hole-in-ones. May he rest in peace, knowing that he brought joy and light into the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
