Roger Nicks, 72, passed on March 21, 2023. He was born to John Earl Nicks and Margie Nicks in Jackson, Mississippi on June 18, 1950.
He married Lillie Nicks and they lived together in Forest, Mississippi for 35 years. Together they raised 6 children Jackie Patrick, Latina Harris (Calvin Harris), Denise Stewart (Christopher Stewart), Lillian Johnson (Timothy Johnson), Nica Viverette (Bobby Viverette), Bridgette Crump (Dave Crump). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren
Roger graduated from Hawkins Middle School.
He worked at Blossom & Blossom Construction as a Foreman until he retired in 2021 after 40 years and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. Roger also loved to train and ride horses in his spare time.
