Rodney (Seaman) Zygmontas passed away on December 1, 2016. He was born on December 3, 1935 in Allentown, Pennsylvania to the late John Seaman and Helen Rauschwendle. Rod resided in several states during his career, and most recently lived in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of Kutztown University, and also attended graduate school there. Rod had a distinguished career in law enforcement. He was a Special Agent for the United States Secret Service from 1968 to 1989. Following that, he became the Director of Security for the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services in Washington, DC until his retirement. Survivors: Left to cherish his memory are his wife Dawn, his son Kevin, and Kevin's fiancée, Ianje, of Falls Church, VA; a brother John in New Mexico, a sister Judith in Florida, several brothers-in law, sisters-in law, nieces, nephews, and many dear longtime friends. Services: There will be no public service per his wish. Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro, is handling the arrangements.
