It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rodger Grody, who was born on July 31, 1955, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States, to Virgil and Shirley Grody. He is survived by his two brothers, Pete Grody, Harry Grody, his daughters Shannon Grody, Jolene, and Amanda.
Rodger passed away from cancer on October 28, 2014 in Traverse city at the age of 59. He is survived by his loving spouse, Cora Grody, whom he married in 2002. (She passed away on August 3rd, 2024)
Rodger was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed spending time with his family and pursuing his hobby of building model airplanes.
He will be missed. May he rest in peace.
