Roberto G. Mireles Santa PaulaRoberto G. Mireles, age 82, passed away at his home in Santa Paula, surrounded by his family on Sunday, July 23, 2017. He was born on December 22, 1934 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Manuel and Magdalena Mireles. Roberto came to California when he was 15 years old. On July 5, 1953, he married the love of his life Elvira Alamillo. Together they had four children. He worked for Limoneira Company for 34 years and retired on August 2, 2005. Roberto was preceded in death by his grandson, Mark Tobias; his parents, Manuel and Magdalena Mireles; brothers, Ramon and Abelino Mireles; sister, Margarita Melendez.Roberto is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Elvira Mireles; son, Robert (Vivian) Mireles; daughters, Rosemary (Richard) Noriega, Diana (Steve) Carrillo and Debbie (David) Moreno. Brother, Ruben (Luz) Mireles. Sisters; Eva Villa, Maria Luisa(Rosario) Sanchez and Nena Mireles as well as eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.Services will be held on Thursday, August 3rd at 9:30am at Sacred Heart Church, 10800 Henderson Rd, Ventura, California. Burial will be at Pierce Brothers Cemetery in Santa Paula, California.The family wishes to express their gratitude for the loving care provided to our Father by Dr. William Rajala, Nurse Sherri, Nurse Jose, Caregiver Sergio, Social Worker Rosario and Rev.
