We are saddened to announce the passing of Roberto Fernando, who passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 12, 2025, in Dearborn, Michigan, United States.

Roberto was born on July 17, 1935, to his parents Herbert and Elisa Fernando. He married the love of his life, Maria, in 1962, and together they raised four children: Michael, Manuel, Victoria, and Veronica.

Roberto attended Abraham Lincoln High School and graduated in 1953. He then continued his studies at Brooklyn College, graduating in 1958. He went on to work at Ford Motor Company, where he dedicated many years of hard work before retiring in 2005.

Roberto had a passion for sports, particularly his beloved Detroit Lions and University of Michigan football. He also enjoyed spending time fishing with family and friends.

He is survived by his loving spouse Maria, children Manny, Vicki, and Veronica, and eight grandchildren(Justin, Jordan, Terri, Kim, Tina, Felix, Robert)

Preceded in Death by Parents Herbert, Elisa, and Oldest son Michael

Roberto will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
