Robert E. Weaver Bob passed away peacefully on September 8, 2017. He was born on January 18th, 1930 to Paul and Ellen Weaver in Tacoma, WA. He was raised in the north end and attended Point Defiance Elementary, Mason Middle School, and graduated from Stadium High School in 1948. He joined the navy and was stationed in California and Attu Alaska and served as a Pastors Assistant. After completing his service he returned home and attended Pacific Lutheran University and graduated from the University of Puget Sound in 1953. He formed his own company "Interior Space Design" and was in the health care business for many years before his retirement in 1991. For the last twenty five years, Joan and Bob spent several months a year in Waianae, Hawaii and loved every minute of it. Their good friends Les and Joyce Rhea visited Waianae and bought their own unit there and we spent many happy times with them and made many new friends there, particularly Richard and Coralene Miller of California. Bob was very active in the reunions for Stadium High School class of 1948 and also Phi Delta Theta fraternity at the University of Puget Sound. Bob and Joan bought a cabin on Lake Steilacoom in 1954 and spent many years remodeling with Bob working very hard to build a home for his family including many rock walls. His favorite pastime was wood carving. He went to many classes and really did beautiful work. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Joan, sons Brad and Mark, grandchildren Matthew, Joshua, Andrew and Erin, niece Joy Keniston-Longrie (Mark), nephew Rick Keniston (Andrea), niece Gail Farr, niece Noel Berger, nephew Russell Farr. Bob will be greatly missed by his family but the Seahawks can rest assured that there is a 12th man cheering from up above. Services will be held at Mountain View Garden Chapel, Monday, Sept. 18, 11am. Reception to follow at Celebration of Life Center at Mountain View.
