ROBERT TEUSCHER, 85 STORY CITY, Iowa - Robert Teuscher, 85, for-merly of Story City, passed away December 15, 2014 at his son's home in Ames. Robert was born on October 14, 1929 to John and Anna (Gempler) Teuscher in Oneco, Illinois. He was a Navy veteran serving in the Korean Conflict from 1948 until 1952. Robert married Barbara Ann Neuenschwan-der on November 1, 1952 in Orangeville, IL. He worked 22 years for Sunstrand as a process engineer. He was an avid golfer and loved to go on vacations to Illinois, Ari-zona, and Wisconsin to visit family. He lived in Colorado, Illinois and Iowa. Robert is survived by his daughters: Carol (Thomas) Ortman of Brookfield, WI, Sally Boster of Nevada, IA and Brenda (Brad) Rude of Gilbert, AZ and his son, Bob (Leslie) Teuscher of Ames, IA; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and his brother, John Teuscher of Grafton, WI. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Barbara who died on January 19, 1999; his daugh-ter, Gail Ann Teuscher; his son-in-law, David Boster; his grandson, Garret Boster; his sisters, Marian Bresech-tel, Shirlene Bartos; and his brother, William Teuscher. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Hospice of Mary Greeley. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, De-cember 17 at Soderstrum Funeral Home in Story City. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, De-cember 18 at Grace United Methodist Church in Story City with burial in the Story City Municipal Cemetery.
