    It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Robert Singleton, who died on January 6, 2026, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 63.


    Born on August 22, 1962, in Dallas, Robert remained closely connected to his hometown throughout his life. He dedicated his career to helping others as a counselor and public speaker, offering guidance and hope to those navigating life’s most difficult challenges. Known for his compassionate presence and thoughtful words, Robert became a trusted figure to many. Whether speaking before an audience or offering quiet support one-on-one, he touched lives with sincerity and care.


    Robert shared this generous spirit most deeply with his family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dedra Singleton. Together, they built a life rooted in love and mutual respect. As a father, Robert devoted himself to raising their two children, Auriel and Brodrick, guiding them with patience and integrity. In recent years, he found joy in being a grandfather, cherishing every moment spent nurturing the next generation.


    He is survived by his children Auriel and Brodrick; his grandchild; his brothers Willie and Tony; and a host of extended family members, friends, colleagues, and all whose lives were enriched by knowing him.


    Robert was also preceded in death by his parents, Olen Harrison and Allen Singleton.


    A Memorial Service will be held on January 17, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Greater Life Baptist Church, 7031 Forney Rd.


    Robert Singleton lived a life of purpose and compassion. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire acts of kindness for years to come.
