Robert L. JenkinsCircleville: Robert L. Jenkins, 79, of Circleville passed away on August 31, 2017. He was born on October 27, 1937 in Kansas City, Kansas to Benjamin and Lena (Button) Jenkins. Bob grew up in Warsaw, Missouri and graduated from Warsaw High School in 1955. He was a proud Army veteran and served at Fort Leonard Wood, MO and Fort Belvoir, VA. He completed both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in education from the University of Missouri. He worked for Teays Valley Schools for 24 years; most of those years were as the Principal of the middle school. He loved hunting and completed his Grand Slam of wild turkeys with his son, Brian. He also loved family vacations at the Outer Banks and Yellowstone National Park. He also loved eating out at Roosters and watching OSU football. Robert was a member of Northridge Church of Christ. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother-in-law Benny Holcomb. Robert is survived by his wife Betty (Holcomb) Jenkins; sons Dr. Brian (Jennifer) Jenkins, Brent Jenkins, daughter Debi Armstrong, grandchildren Nial Jenkins and Todd and Nikki Armstrong, great grandchildren Michael, Viviana and Kruz, brother John Ronald (Janice) Jenkins, brother-in-law Dr. Larry Holcomb, sister-in-law Kay Holcomb and by many nieces and nephews and numerous cousins. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Northridge Church of Christ with Michael Cottle and Bill Thomas officiating.
