BOWMANRobert "Bob" L. Bowman, Jr., 84, of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, formerly of Burlington, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Bob was born on April 21, 1933, in Covington, Kentucky, to the late Debbie Wilson and Robert L. Bowman, Sr. He served his country by serving in the Army Air Borne. Bob was a salesman for Jackson Bearing and Kentucky Motor Service and an avid fan of UK sports and the Cincinnati Reds. He was also a member of the Masons and a Kentucky Colonel. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Bertha M. White Bowman of Gatlinburg, Tennessee; daughter, Karen Garland of Gatlinburg, Tennessee; grandson, Travis F. (Peggy) Garland; and 3 great grandchildren, Lilly, Kaitlyn, and Timmy. A Memorial Service will be Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the MIDDENDORF-BULLOCK FUNERAL HOME, Hebron, Kentucky.
