Robert Hamblet, Born on May 2, 1949, in Syracuse, New York, Passed away on February 1,2025 Robert was known for his quick wit, infectious laughter, and love of life.
Robert was a master fisherman, spending countless hours out on the water reeling in the big ones. He could often be found with a book in hand, lost in a world of adventure and mystery. Despite his love for the great outdoors, Robert also had a talent for making people laugh with his witty jokes and humorous stories.
Predeceased by his wife Maddie, Robert leaves behind two children who will always cherish the memories they shared with him. Darlene and Valerie, along with their spouses Marty and Matt, will forever remember their father's love and laughter.
Robert was also a proud grandparent to five grandchildren, Crystal Harris, Caprice and Calvin Logins, Ann Holt and Ben Johnson all of whom adored their "Papa" and his silly jokes. He had a special bond with each of them and will be dearly missed.
As we say goodbye to Robert, let us remember the joy and laughter he brought into our lives. May he rest in peace, reunited with his beloved Maddie, and continue fishing in the great beyond.
