Robert Johnson Sr., lovingly known as "Tub" to his friends, passed away on October 7, 2024, in Thomasville, Georgia. He was born on May 18, 1946, and lived a full and vibrant life.

Tub married his high school sweetheart, Lisa Elaine Smith, in 1980, and together they raised three wonderful children: Robert Jr., Allen, and Gerald. He was a devoted husband and father who always put his family first.

After graduating from Douglas High School in 1964, Tub went on to have a successful career at the City of Thomasville, where he worked tirelessly until his well-deserved retirement in 2007. He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his community.

Tub loved spending time with his five grandchildren, Tylan, Ajia, Harmony, Robert III, & little TJ all whom he adored beyond measure. He enjoyed taking them fishing, sharing stories, and teaching them life lessons. His love for his family knew no bounds.

Tub will be remembered for his infectious laugh, warm demeanor, and unwavering love for his family.

Services to be held at St. Luke C.M.E. Church on October 19th, 2024 at 11AM. Public Viewing will be held at 10AM until the official service.
