Robert Earl Davis, Jr. Sept. 08, 1955 - Oct. 28, 2016NILES - Robert “Robin” Earl Davis, Jr., 61, of Niles, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Robin was born on September 8, 1955 to the late Robert E. and Betty L. Davis in South Bend, IN. He graduated from Brandywine High School class of 1976. He worked at St. Mary's College for twenty three years before working his last five years at Holy Cross College. Robin didn't know an enemy, he loved babies and dogs and they were drawn to him. He was a very avid Notre Dame fan, loved doing word search puzzles and most of all enjoyed traveling with his two sisters. Robin is survived by his sisters Barbara (Don) Kain of Galien and Debbie (Jack) Davis of Niles; nieces and nephews, Nikki (Mike) Springer, David (Kathleen Clark) Chapman, Jr., Cheryl (Dave) Gogley, Don Kain, Timothy (Nicole) Griffith, John (Nichole Lintz) Davis, Roxanne (Art) Deeds and Nikki (John) Joyal; numerous great nieces and nephews; special friends, Sherry Ewing and David Werner and sister, Susan Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother in law, Don Kain. Visitation for Robin will be held from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Hoven Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 12 pm on Thursday, November 3, 2016 also at Hoven Funeral Home, with Pastor Paul Deeds of Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle, Buchanan officiating.
