Robert Charles Musselman of Oscoda passed away on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016 at the Tawas St. Joseph Hospital, age 66 years. Robert was born on Oct. 8, 1949 in Cadillac to Delano and Ruby (Chaffee) Musselman. He was a very skilled and reputable builder for many years, owning and operating Musselman Builders. He took great pride in his work and has left many legacies to show. He was an avid outdoorsman and really enjoyed whitetail deer hunting and the traditions that go along with the hunt. He also was a frequent visitor to various casinos, always anticipating best and enjoying the thrill. Robert married his best friend, Yvonne (Cline) Musselman, in Saginaw on Oct. 16, 1967. Together they celebrated 48 beautiful years of marriage. He is survived now by his beloved wife, Yvonne; their three loving children, Tina (Rodney) Schimmer of Oscoda, April (Mark) Hansen of Oscoda and Bobbie Jo Musselman of Florida; five grandchildren, Amber, Misty, Charlie, Abigail and Adam; one great granddaughter, Olive; three sisters, Helen Brice of Bridgeport, Elaine Hasse of Oscoda and Lois Priest of Harrison; two brothers, Terry (Cathy) Musselman of Kentucky and Stanley (Diane) Musselman of Lake City; one brother-in-law, Danny Cline of Birch Run; two sisters-in-law, Sherry (Bob) West of Oklahoma and Marsha Mason of Lake City; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Delano and Ruby Musselman; three brothers, Francis, Larry and Gerald Musselman; and one sister, Rosemary Lockwood. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and at this time there are no services scheduled. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to his family wishes.
