Mr. Robert Edward Nichols, affectionately known as "Bobby," was born to the late Ernest Frank Nichols Sr. and Mabel Smith Nichols, on January 30, 1954. He departed this life peacefully on Wednesday October 16, 2024 at the age of 70, in Winston Salem, NC.

Bobby attended the local public schools and was an avid sportsman in High School, and around the Community. Bobby played Football for the Anderson High School Bulldogs, and Semi- Pro Baseball for Three Community Team's. He was the Pitcher for the Winston-Salem A's, he was the Pitcher for the Winston-Salem Indians, and the Pitcher and First Baseman for the Phillies. Bobby also was a Coach for the Pop Warner Football League, Coaching the Tiny Indians Pee-Wees and the Jr. Pee-Wees.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Nichols Sr., and Mabel Smith Nichols, his beloved daughter Tamara Turner and a nephew Christopher Brown. He leaves to cherish many beautiful memories, 2 Brothers, Ernest Frank Nichols Jr., and Charles F. Nichols, 3 Nephews, Mario Cloud, Joseph Bennett, and Lamont Frazier, 3 Nieces, Natasha Oliver, Kayla Bowman, and Latoya Dawkins, and other relatives and friends.
