SCHAUMBURG - Rita Hamlin was born on February 8, 1948 to Joseph and Rita (nee Miller) D'Agostino. She died Friday, November 11, 2016 surrounded by her family. Rita was an avid arts and crafter, she especially enjoyed creating shadow boxes, vignettes and flower arrangements. Rita is survived by her spouse of 47 years, Ralph; her children, Laura (Edward) Pavon, and Christopher Hamlin; her grandson, Edward Pavon; her sister, Marguerite (the late Anthony) Canzoneri; her brother, Joseph (Marcia) D'Agostino; her sisters-in-law, Ethel Hamlin, and Emily (Hein) Mortiz; her cousin, Gemma (Ted) Hall; and many cherished nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, where a funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, November 15, 2016. Interment Private.
