Rita Ann Antonelli of National City passed away peacefully under the loving care of her family and hospice on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at the age of 78. Rita was born on Oct. 4, 1934 in Scottdale, Pa. to Bartholomew J. and Margaret H. Demma. Those who knew and loved Rita will remember how she truly adored and cherished her children and grandchildren. Rita was an avid bowler and even coached bowling for over 20 years. She enjoyed doing puzzles, flower gardening, and leisurely riding around the lake on her golf cart. She was also a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in East Tawas. Rita is survived by her three loving sons, Frank (Nancy) Antonelli of Florida, Bernard (Susan) Antonelli of Waterford and Daniel Antonelli of National City; grandchildren, Frank Antonelli, Nicholas Antonelli, Rachel Roach, Brittney Antonelli, Sarah Antonelli, Bradley Eden, Ashley Eden, Brittney Eden, Heather Eden and Dylan Eden; two great grandchildren, Bentley and Devon Antonelli; one brother, Bernard (Rose) Demma of Aliquippa, Pa.; and one sister, Eleanor Wynn of Chesapeake, Va.; five nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. Rita was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Antonelli; and her parents. Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, April 14 at 2 p.m. at Buresh Funeral Home in Tawas City with Father Charles Donajkowski officiating. Her family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for visitation. Interment will take place following the funeral in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in East Tawas.
