Targhetta, Rico Henry Jr. Rico Henry Targhetta Jr, 72 of Glendale, AZ passed away on May 29, 2017. He was born on July 3, 1944 to Rico Henry Targhetta Sr and Dora Marquez-Targhetta in Richmond, California. Rico was raised in Prescott, Arizona and entered the military for a short time. Upon discharge from the military, he became a foreman for a construction company and was part of the carpenters union. His family remembers him as a loving, caring and giving father and grandfather as well as a mentor and role model to his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his children Shawna Targhetta and Cristina Carroll, sisters: Linda, Margie and Helen, and grandchildren: Lianna, Michael, Anthony and Nicholas Targhetta, Sara Hook and Anthony Carroll. He is preceded in death by both parents as well as his brother Tony Targhetta. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 9:00 am with a rosary at 9:30 at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W Thunderbird Rd, Peoria AZ85381. A Funeral Mass will fol low at St Jerome Catholic Church, 10815 N 35th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85029. Reception to follow at Manuel's, 5670 W. Peoria Ave, Glendale, AZ 85302 at 12:30 pm.
