Ricky Taylor, a beloved member of the Minneapolis community, passed away on January 7, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on November 11,1969 in Jackson Mississippi, Ricky was the 5th of 9 children to the late Burnice Taylor and Leroy Ratliff, Ricky moved to Minneapolis in 1994 to be closer to his family. Ricky is the father of two daughters Keisha and Autumn Zimmerman and two sons Ricky Taylor Jr. and Moses Smith, Ricky also have 4 grand children, Ricky was an outgoing and kind-hearted individual who touched the lives of all those around him. He had a love for music and God, often spending his days going to church and telling people about God and uplifting and helping those who were in need. Ricky was called home to glory on January 7, 2026 leaving 3 remaining siblings Patricia Bolden, Kendall Taylor and Roynell Taylor and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members and friends that love him dearly, his humor and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
