We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Rickey Mitchell, who was born on January 27, 1956 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Rickey peacefully left this world on July 9, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones.

Rickey was the beloved son of Monegue and Bertha Mitchell, and the cherished partner of Colleen Bell. He was the loving father of Rekeisha Denise Kendrick and adored by his two grandchildren. Rickey was a devoted family man who always put his loved ones first.

Rickey attended Dusable High School and graduated in 1973. He was a dedicated student and always strived for excellence in his studies.

Throughout his life, Rickey enjoyed playing the guitar and building cars. His hobbies brought him joy and relaxation, and he was known for his skill and passion in these activities.

The world has lost a kind-hearted soul with Rickey's passing. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
