Richard Simpson, 77, of Cambridge, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2024, at his home.

A son of the late H. Frank and Sarah Martha Simpson; he was born September 17, 1947, in Indiana.

Richard was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing and hunting. Spending every free weekend in the woods. Richard cherished babysitting and spending time with his grandkids. He was the world's best dad, most of all he was an out-of-this-world "Pap." Richard and Judy enjoyed their winter trips to Melbourn, Fl, as well as the family's annual trip to the OBX. Richard always gave his devoted attention to his grandkid's sporting events. Richard was always willing to lead a helping hand wherever needed.

Richard is survived by his two daughters: Suzie and Missie Simpson, of Indiana: three grandkids: Bryce Chiodini, Cecilia Chiodini and Travis Ruddock. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his son-in-law Billie Ruddock and wife Judith (Judy) Simpson.

Richard will be deeply missed but will forever be in the hearts of the one's who knew him.
