Richard Gilligan, 77 was called to heaven and joined his beloved wife Virginia on October 12, 2015 with family by his side. Richard was born on April 27, 1938 in Jersey City, New Jersey. Richard was a wonderful father, protector, provider and loving Pop Pop. Richard leaves behind his only child, Maureen Sanders, her husband, Joseph Sanders of Austin; grandchildren, Morgan and Jordan Sanders . A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, November 13th at 11:15am, at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038
