Eppinger, RichardRichard J. Eppinger, Kaukauna, age 81 died peacefully on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at St. Paul Home. He was born on August 19, 1935 in Kaukauna, WI son of the late Bernard and Eva (Nushart) Eppinger. Richard served in the Army in Germany from 1958 to 1960, where he met his wife Johanna. On June 27, 1960 he married Johanna M. Fischer at St. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukauna. The couple lived in Kaukauna their entire married lives. Richard worked for Thilmany for 40 years, retiring in 1996. Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing and his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Johanna, Kaukauna; his children: Chris (Greg) Thomas, Montana and their children, Sierra, Riley and Gage and Michelle Yao, Kaukauna and her children, Benjamin, Chance, Trevor and Spencer; 4 brothers: Norman (Ruth), Appleton, Jerome (Fumiko), Leon and Dennis (Angie), all of Kaukauna.Memorial services for Richard will be at 12 Noon on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH at ST. MARY CHURCH, 119 West Seventh St., Kaukauna with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Friends may call directly at church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.
