Regine M. CurtisDOVERRegine M. (Cherbotowicz) Curtis, 90, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at her home. She was the wife of Arthur E. Curtis to whom she was married for 58 years on July 12th.A Mass of Christian Burial will be in held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2016 at Saint Rose of Lima Church, 950 W. Market Street, York, with the Rev. Paul Schenck officiating. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Church. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements.Regine was born on December 26, 1925 in Metz, France, a daughter of the late Wladislaw and Marie (Wanicka) Cherbotowicz. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, playing cards with friends and ballroom dancing with her husband. Mrs. Curtis was a member of the Phoenix Dance Club, St. Rose of Lima Church, and the former Cotillion Club.In addition to her husband, Mrs. Curtis is survived by a daughter, Monique A.
