Rebecca Ann (Weber) Shick, 77, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 4, 2016 at Penn Highlands Brookville Hospital in Brookville, PA. She was born on November 9, 1938 to the late Walter Weber and Eleanor (Richner) Weber.  She was an active member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church and helped run the family archery business for many years. Rebecca loved gardening and was happiest when outdoors. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, David Shick; 3 daughters - Darlene (Bill) Himes, Donna (Dick) Beveridge, and Vickey (Bob) Deter; 4 grandchildren - Brooke Edinger, Ryan Domres, Mike Domres, and Anthony Deter; 4 step-grandchildren - Emily Stall, Shane Himes, Andrea Wallace, and Rebecca Carrier; and 2 great-grandchildren - Caitlin Domres and Roxann Domres. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Jennifer Domres and Bradley Fenstermaker. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the McKinney – d'Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Brookville, PA 15825.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2016, at the Evangelical United Methodist Church, 30 S White St., Brookville PA, 15825, beginning at 11:00 am and officiated by the Rev. Chuck Jack and Rev. Glenn McQuown. Interment will take place at the Rose-Bethel Cemetery in Rose Twp., Jefferson Co., PA. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Evangelical United Methodist Church to be used for a future designated charitable purpose.
