Raymond L. Snyder, all his life known as Pat, 81 of Princess Anne and formerly Glen Burnie, passed away on October 28, 2016 at Lakeside Assisted Living in Salisbury, Md. Mr. Snyder was born on March 18, 1935 to the late Raymond L. and Eva Tallman Snyder of Jermyn, PA. Pat moved to Pasadena, MD when he was 6. He graduated from Glen Burnie High School, and later from University of Baltimore. He married his wife, Sandra Ann Reinhardt in 1955. Mr. Snyder was a United States Navy Veteran, having served from 1953-1956 on the U.S.S. Cubera. He later went to work as a Quality Control Engineer for Westinghouse and retired after 39 years. He was a member of Masonic Lodges #213 and #106. Raymond Snyder (Pat) is survived by a sister, Susann Steyer of Glendale, AZ. his 3 children, Raymond Jr. (Paula) of Belcamp, Md., Ellen Schmitt (John) of Princess Anne, MD., and Laura Kaufmann (Doug) of Queen Anne, Md., 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews Pat was preceded in death by his beloved wife Sandra in 2010. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Singleton Funeral Home, Glen Burnie on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 10 A.M.
