Raymond E. ClaytorYorkRaymond E. Claytor, aka Buck, 87, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016 at Colonial Manor. He was the widower of Catherine Claytor.Raymond was born on December 9, 1928 in Grottoes, Va. to the late Samuel and Lucy (Raines) Claytor. Raymond was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and after his return home from the military he gained employment as a painter at Cole Steel for 22 years. In his spare time he enjoyed, working on cars, target practice, sharing his military stories, and spending time with his family and friends. Raymond was a member of Community Church of God Church, Wallace & State St. in York.Raymond leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Jerry Claytor and wife, Sue and Barry Claytor; a daughter, Audrey Burgos and husband, Jesus; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and a host of other family members and friends.In addition to his parents and his wife, Raymond was preceded in death by a son, Billy Claytor.A viewing will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 9 till 10 a.m. at Boulding Mortuary Inc., 471 Madison Avenue, York PA 17404 and a funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, York.Boulding Mortuary Inc. is handling arrangements.
