Randall (Randy) Lamar Long was born November 14, 1964 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Mary Saunders Sherman and the late Willie Long. He quietly departed this life on February 15, 2021 at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, California.

Randall graduated from Columbus North High School in 1983. He was an employee of Lowe's for over 20 years. Randall enjoyed exercising, riding his bike in the mountains and he was fascinated by cars. He also enjoyed watching college basketball and football games. He had a hilarious sense of humor that would keep you laughing all day.

Randall is survived by his mother Mary Saunders Sherman of Georgia, two brothers Kirk French (Pam) of Florida, Robert Saunders of Georgia, two sisters Sara Saunders of Indiana and Veronica Saunders Moss of Georgia and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece, nephews and friends. Randall is preceded in passing by his brother Don Saunders.

Due to COVID, a memorial service for family members only will be held at a later date.
