Rafael Garcia, 71, passed on August 12, 2022. He was born to Mariano Garcia and Socorrito Silva in Hermosillo, Sonora on February 12, 1951. Brother to Jorge Garcia and Magdalena Flores.

He married Mariaelena Garcia, and they lived together in El Centro, California. Together, they raised 3 children Mayra Guevara (ISRAEL GUEVARA, CHACHIS AND GORDY), Rafael Garcia (ERIC, BRYANNA, ISSAC), ANA ALDANA (CESAR ALDANA, DIEGO AND LUCIA), and many nephews and nieces.

Rafael worked as a Biochemist in Imperial Valley's Agrculture community since 1980's. However he was a full time Father, a loving Tata, and good friend to many loved ones. He had a great passion for fishing, life, and food. He was knon as "The Chef". His smile and "shot taking" affected in the most positive change in people. He passed away from living a good life, and loving his family. Specially, all his grandchildren, who where the apple of his eyes.
