It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rachel Combs, a beloved member of our community. Rachel was born on August 21, 1963, in Manassas City, Virginia, United States, to her loving parents Lyson and Trudy McKievensons. She peacefully departed this world on December 26, 2023.

Rachel, known for her warm and gentle spirit, touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she did not have any children of her own, Rachel's nurturing nature was evident in the compassion she showed towards others.

In the year 1997, Rachel found her soulmate and life companion in Richard (Rich) Combs, with whom she celebrated the joy of marriage. Their unwavering love was an inspiration to all who witnessed their deep affection for one another.

Professionally, Rachel excelled in her career as a lawyer. Her dedication to justice, paired with her sharp intellect, made her an invaluable asset to her clients. She worked diligently, never losing sight of the importance of upholding truth and advocating for those who needed her support.

Unfortunately, the world lost a remarkable individual due to the devastating effects of leukemia. Rachel fought a brave battle against this relentless disease, showcasing her resilience and determination throughout. Her unwavering strength in the face of adversity served as a testament to her indomitable spirit.
