Queen Reid, aged 72, of Smithfield, North Carolina, passed away on May 21, 2024. She was born on February 8, 1952, to the late Henry George and Clara George. Queen was married to Harold Reid .

Queen was a beloved mother to six children: Ruby Hargett (spouse Leroy Hargett), June Douglas (spouse Stanley Douglas), Deborah Atkinson (spouse Donald Atkinson), Naomi White (spouse Curtis White), Tony George (spouse Judy George), and Deron George (spouse Meko George).

Queen attended Smithfield Selma High School and graduated in 1970. She was a dedicated student who excelled in her studies.

Throughout her life, Queen was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and friend. She was known for her kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering faith.
