Berger, Phyllis K.Phyllis K. Berger, 96, of Kohler, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, January 9, 2017.Phyllis was born on June 12, 1920 in Sheboygan to Jacob and Catherine (Doyle) Klauck. She was a 1938 graduate of Kohler High School. On February 12, 1944 she married Robert Berger in Gainesville, TX. He preceded her in death on December 10, 1987. Phyllis was an active member of St. John Evangelist Catholic Church in Kohler.Phyllis is survived by one son, Philip (Linda) Berger of Batavia; one son-in-law, Richard Katte of Sheboygan Falls; four grandchildren, Ann Marie (Howard) Lazaroff, Jennifer Berger, Andrew (Lori) Katte and Matthew (Christine) Katte; eight great grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Klauck of Milwaukee; and one brother, Fr. Stanley Klauck of Milwaukee.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert; one daughter, Kathleen Ann Katte; one son, Robert Jr.; one sister, Joan Schroeder and one brother, Jack (Mary) Klauck.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church in Kohler on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 11 am with Rev. Bob Lotz officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Kohler.
