duPont, Phyllis Jane (Long),79, a strong, generous, and caring woman, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016 surrounded by her family and friends. She retired from Child Protective Services for the state of Kentucky after over 25 years of dedicated service. She was born on May 13, 1937 in Fairdale, Kentucky to the late William and Inez (Estes) Long. Phyllis was also preceded in death by her brothers, Richard, Ray, and Tommy Long. Phyllis is survived by her children, Kevin duPont (Lori), Kerry duPont (Bryan Belote), Ginger Smith (David), Terri Heil (Jeff); siblings, Ronnie, Debbie, Terry, Gary; grandchildren, Tony Smith (Amanda), Nicholas duPont, Ashley Montgomery (Greg), Pauletta Vance (Justin), Justin Heil (Bobbi); and 12 great-grandchildren.
