MANN, Phillip Thomas Age 64 of South Charleston, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, December 9, 2016. He was born on December 15, 1951 in Springfield, Ohio to Herman W. and Katherine M. (Brewer) Mann. In addition to his father, Phil is preceded in death by his father-in-law, George Redmond. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 45 years, Shirley (Redmond) Mann; his son, Paul (Karie) Mann; his daughter, Terri (Steve) Bruce; mother, Katherine; grandchildren: Aliza & Emma Mann and Logan, Dustin, Derek and Madi Bruce; siblings: Marcella Maier, Chuck (Cheryl) Mann, Bill (Kim) Mann and Louie (Sherry) Mann; mother-in-law, Martha Redmond; sister-in-law, Connie (Dennis) Huff as well as many nieces and nephews. Phil was an avid fisherman and a computer hobbyist. He was a volunteer fireman for Springfield Twp and a firefighter and Paramedic on the Harmony Twp Fire Dept. He retired after 32 dedicated years from International Harvester. Phil was also a dedicated member of the Plattsburg United Church of Christ. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 &6:00-8:00 p.m. at JACKSON LYTLE & LEWIS LIFE CELEBRATION CENTER with his funeral service following on his birthday, Thursday, December 15 at 10:00 a.m. at PLATTSBURG UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST with Pastor Curt Miner officiating.
